Support to make simple changes to improve your health
If you have a health problem or want to lower your risk of developing conditions like heart disease or type 2 diabetes, our Healthy Eating and Lifestyle Program (HELP) is for you.
Over 8 weeks, you will be supported to make small changes to improve your health. Led by qualified health professionals, you’ll learn about healthy eating, portion sizes, reading food labels, and the benefits of being active. Each session includes individual exercise in a supportive group setting to help you learn movements you can use at home.
The program starts with an initial assessment before you begin. We’ll check in again at the end of the 8 weeks with a repeat assessment at the end of the program.
Our HELP program can help you:
- build healthier eating habits
- get more physically active
- reduce your risk of diabetes and heart disease
- understand how to read nutrition labels
- set realistic goals and work towards them
- maintain healthy lifestyle changes
- connect with others in a supportive group setting.
