Supporting you to connect or stay connected with your community
Being involved in your community is good for your health and wellbeing. Our Community Connections program can provide personalised support to help you develop goals and engage in social groups and activities.
We can support you to regain your independence and the confidence to connect with others in the community.
We do this in a range of ways:
- Individual support Our Community Connections program supports eligible adults aged under 65 to connect with their community. We can work with you one-to-one to develop your goals and assist you to build meaningful social connections through community activities and access to Holstep Health programs.
- Workshops and groups We run groups and workshops designed to build your capacity, confidence, and community connections as you take part in meaningful and enjoyable activities.
- Health and Wellbeing Talks We run a variety of learning sessions across the year. They give you information about various topics to help you have an active and healthy lifestyle. We update our programs based on community interest to ensure we cover topics that are engaging, up-to-date, and of interest to you.
