Get expert support to help you on your pain recovery journey
If you’re living with persistent (chronic) pain, you’re not alone—and there is real hope for recovery. Pain is real, but it doesn’t always mean your body is damaged. Often, chronic pain is the result of the brain misinterpreting safe signals from the body as if they were dangerous.
At our pain service, we offer individual and group support to help you understand the science behind your pain, retrain your brain’s response to it, manage flare-ups, and develop practical strategies to move with greater ease and confidence and get back to doing more of what matters to you.
Using an evidence-based, whole-person approach, our team of professionals—including pain physician, physiotherapists, psychologist, occupational therapist and care coordinators—will work together to support your physical, emotional and social wellbeing. You can expect an empathic and inclusive care experience, using a mix of education, movement-based therapy, coaching, and psychological support, tailored to your individual needs.
We focus on giving you knowledge and strategies that work in real life – not just temporary fixes.
Our pain group program can help you:
- understand persistent pain and what affects it
- learn evidence-based pain management strategies
- manage stress, mood, fatigue and sleep
- learn about healthy eating and medications for pain
- build physical strength and confidence to move
- set personal goals and track your progress
- reduce the impact of pain on everyday life
- develop long-term self-management skills.
