Physiotherapy

Get support to move better and feel stronger with physiotherapy.
Physiotherapy

Get help with movement, mobility, injuries and pain

Physiotherapists are here to support you to move better, feel stronger, and live more comfortably in your body. If pain, injury, or physical limitations are getting in the way of your daily life, a physiotherapist works with you to restore movement and improve function.

Our physios have a good understanding of how to manage a range of conditions that affect muscles, joints, bones and nerves. They develop a treatment plan tailored to your needs.

This might include:

  • hands-on therapy
  • specific exercises, based on what they find on assessment
  • group exercise programs, some including health education
  • re-learning movement, or finding new strategies to move
  • education to help you understand and manage your condition.

They can also assess you for walking aids such as sticks, crutches and frames.

The physiotherapist will work with you, your GP and any other health professions to help you do everyday activities more easily, focusing on what matters most to you.

We offer one-on-one consultations and group programs to help with things like:

  • rehabilitation after an injury or surgery
  • managing pain and discomfort
  • improving movement, strength and flexibility
  • balance training and reducing the risk of falls
  • improving your mobility and independence at home and in the community
  • tailored movement and exercise programs for long-term health.
  • supporting pelvic health and continence
  • improving breathing and dizziness
  • helping babies with head tilt and head shape problems
  • helping children with walking-related issues – also see our children’s feet and leg clinics
