Water-based exercise

Discover the benefits of water-based exercise for joint, muscle, and chronic health conditions.
Water-based exercise

Move and feel better with exercise in water

Our water-based exercise group program is led by a physiotherapist or exercise physiologist and are suitable for people of all ages and abilities.

Water-based exercise is ideal for people with muscle and joint problems, chronic health conditions or those recovering from surgery who find land exercises hard due to pain and stiffness.

The program is tailored to your needs, and you’ll be guided by professionals in a supportive group setting.  If you are looking for a comfortable way to be more active and improve or maintain your independence, this program is for you!

Our water-based exercise program can help you to:

  • gain strength, endurance and flexibility
  • recover from surgery or injury
  • build confidence with movement and exercise
  • exercise in a way that feels supportive and less painful
  • connect with others in a guided, encouraging environment
