Exercise physiology for older people

Stay active and healthy as you get older

Our Exercise Physiologists support older adults to get or stay active. Whether you want to improve your strength or fitness, manage a health condition, or feel healthier, we can create a program to suit your needs and abilities.

Australian statistics demonstrate most adult don’t meet Physical Activity Guidelines, we are here to help. You don’t need to be fit to benefit. In our one-to-one and group sessions, we focus on helping  you move safely and effectively to achieve your health and well-being goals. We design programs for people who are frail, use a wheelchair, just getting started with exercise or seasoned exercisers looking for something new.

We can help you with:

  • personalised health and exercise assessments to develop exercise programs tailored for you.
  • strength, balance, and fitness training
  • safe ways to exercise at home or in a leisure centre/gym
  • health and disease management education
  • managing chronic conditions through physical activity.
