Support and exercise to live better with Parkinson’s disease
Our 8-week group program is designed specifically for people living with Parkinson’s disease. It combines tailored exercises with practical information to help you manage your symptoms and support your day-to-day wellbeing.
Each week, you’ll take part in movement sessions focused on exercises that are most effective for Parkinson’s disease. All guided by professionals who understand the condition, these sessions may include balance work, coordination, strength training, posture and walking practice.
Along with physical activity, the program includes information sessions covering topics like symptom management, energy conservation, movement strategies, and tips for everyday living.
The program is supportive and paced to your ability, with guidance every step of the way. Your family and caregivers are welcome to come along, too.
Our 8-week Parkinson’s group can help you to:
- improve your balance, coordination and walking
- build your strength and confidence with movement
- manage fatigue and energy levels
- use exercise to help control your symptoms
- connect with others who share similar experiences
- feel more in control of your condition
- find a safe, supportive space to keep active.
