Prevent and treat foot, ankle and lower leg problems
Our podiatrists help you stay mobile and pain-free by providing expert care for your feet and lower legs. We treat existing issues and help you prevent future problems through tailored advice and treatment.
At your first visit, we’ll review your medical history and assess your feet and lower limbs. Your podiatrist will work with you to develop a treatment plan to help you reach your goals. Treatment is often provided at your initial appointment.
We can help you with:
- advice about how to care for your feet and choose the right footwear
- diabetic foot assessments
- treatment for skin and nail conditions
- minor procedures, such as ingrown toenail surgery
- wound care and management
- measurement and fitting of specialised insoles and footwear
- assessment of how you walk or run to detect imbalances
- referral to other health professionals as needed.
To help us with your diagnosis and treatment planning, please:
- bring relevant test results (eg X-ray and ultrasound images of your feet, knees or hips), a medication list, and the footwear you regularly wear to your first appointment
- wear shorts or loose-fitting pants to enable us to better assess your lower limbs.
