Our first ever Holstep Health Annual Report and Quality Account is officially here!
Unveiled earlier today at our Annual General Meeting (AGM), this year’s report, themed ‘Stronger communities start here’, highlights the ways we’ve supported people and families across our communities, helping children, older adults, and whole communities to thrive.
Highlights from 2024–25 include:
- 502,000+ instances of care provided by our services
- 9,500 care sessions delivered to people through the HARP program
- 800+ people reached through 15+ Community Connections talks, in partnership with local organisations
- 295 kindergartens and early childhood services supported through the School Readiness Program
- expanded our Senior Social Group Program into Melbourne’s west
- 91.7% of people in our Chronic Pain Service reported an improvement in their physical abilities
- 800 people supported by our West Heidelberg Community Legal service
- 17,389 carers across Victoria supported through our carer support programs

Together with local community members, Holstep Health members, staff, partners, stakeholders and Board members we shared real stories of impact in the services we provide at our AGM. Connie, a from our ReSPIN lived experience speaker program spoke courageously about how gambling harm has affected her life. With 512 people supported through Gambler’s Help 2,282 counselling sessions in the last year alone at Holstep Health, her story demonstrated the positive impact of the on her life.
We also heard from Meg and David who just recently completed our free Family Foundations 10 session course. Family Foundations has allowed them to learn tools to help them parent and communicate better so their little one can really thrive. We thank everyone for sharing and their openness and insights.
Over the past year, we have focused on making a meaningful difference for individuals, families and communities through services that support physical, mental, social, financial and legal wellbeing. Our work is guided by the voices of the community, helping us provide expert compassionate, community-based care and specialist treatment and prevention.
Looking ahead
We’ve also been working with the community to shape the future. With community feedback and collaboration, we developed our Strategic Directions 2025–2028 to ensure our services stay responsive, accessible and community-led.
Our goal remains simple: to provide lifelong community care that supports every person to thrive.
