Free support to help you parent better as a team
Research shows children thrive when their parents co-operate and learn to deal with stress. Family Foundations is a free 10-session program that helps parents work together to manage the ups and downs of raising children. It’s designed for anyone parenting with someone else – such as a spouse, partner, grandparent or friend.
Two qualified, experienced practitioners will work with you and your co-parent. We know it can be hard to get out of the house, so you can do the sessions in your home or online.
We’ll help you:
- find practical ways to cope with new parenthood
- develop skills to manage stress, challenges and conflict
- communicate better with each other
- strengthen your relationship.
Expecting a baby? We recommend doing five sessions before baby arrives and five after baby comes home. If your child is of preschool age, you can start all ten sessions now.
