If you’re concerned about your child’s hearing or speech development, our audiology service can help. We offer hearing assessments and advice for infants and children in a caring, family-friendly environment.
Hearing is an important part of learning to communicate, connect with others and engage with the world. If your child has a history of ear infections, delayed speech and language development, or you’ve noticed they do not respond to sounds like you’d expect, it’s a good idea to get their hearing checked. It can also be helpful to arrange a hearing assessment before your child starts school.
After one of audiologists has assessed your child’s hearing, they can guide you through any next steps.
Our children’s audiology team can help you:
- identify hearing loss or other hearing concerns
- check for hearing issues after ear infections
- get clear advice about your child’s needs.
