Learn how to care for your teeth and mouth
Our oral health education program helps you learn how to take care of your teeth and mouth. This can help prevent problems like tooth decay, gum disease, and discomfort in the future. You’ll learn practical tips you can use right away, from how to brush your teeth properly to understanding what to expect during a dental visit.
We offer sessions for people of all ages, including school-aged children and adults. If you’re a parent or carer, we’ll also help you encourage good habits in the children you care for. All information is tailored to your specific needs and circumstances.
You will learn things like:
- how to brush and floss your teeth properly
- how to choose food and drinks that are good for your teeth and mouth
- how to care for your dentures (as applicable)
- how to encourage children to look after their teeth
- how to manage a dry mouth.
