LGBTIQA+ carer support

Being a carer within the LGBTIQA+ community can look different for everyone.

Like you, your caring role is unique.

You might be supporting a friend, relative, current or ex partner, housemate, or someone within your wider community.

While caring can bring moments of joy, it’s not always easy, and you may feel overwhelmed, burnt out or like no one understands what you’re going through. If you’re also navigating your own disability, chronic health condition or mental health challenges, things can feel even more complex.
