Caring for someone can affect your ability to work or keep up with everyday expenses. If you’re providing care to a family member or friend, you may be eligible for financial assistance to help ease the pressure.
Carer Gateway is a free national support program funded by the Australian Government. Led by Holstep Health, the Carer Gateway program in Victoria is delivered in collaboration with six trusted health and community organisations.
Using Carer Gateway services will not affect any other supports or payments you may be getting through My Aged Care, the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), or Services Australia.
Below are some common payments and services available to carers, with links to more information.
