Going to the dentist can feel daunting for many people, but having a warm, friendly face can make all the difference.
At Holstep Health, we want everyone to feel comfortable at every step of their oral health journey, whether that’s the dentist, patient, or student on placement!
Throughout the year, our oral health team welcomes 40+ students through our rotation program, giving them the opportunity to experience life in a busy clinical setting. During their time with us, these future dentists gain hands-on clinical exposure and build confidence working directly with patients. These students bring energy, fresh perspectives and plenty of smiles as they develop important communication skills, learn to think independently when planning treatments, and are supported in sharing and refining their ideas.

Through our partnership with the University of Melbourne, the program gives fourth-year dental students insight into a fast-paced work environment and exposure to a wide variety of cases, including more complex presentations. It’s a valuable experience that helps bridge the gap between study and real-world practice.
