We are a Medicare bulk billing practice!
Bulk billing is now available for most appointments for all patients with a valid Medicare card.
This includes long and prolonged consultations on weekends and weekdays.
Please make sure you bring your Medicare card and any concession cards with you.
All non-Medicare card holders will be privately billed.
Fees are payable at the time of your appointment.

By car: There is free 2-hour street parking directly in front of the medical centre with several disabled parking spots available. Our facilities are wheelchair accessible.

Dr Enright, Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practise, has been practising medicine since 1993 and has a broad interest in all areas of the profession, making General Practice/Primary Care an ideal specialty for him! He especially enjoys the opportunity to work with families, developing therapeutic relationships with individuals through all stages of their lives.
Dr Marcus Weyland

Dr. Weyland has worked in general practice for over 30 yrs. He graduated in Sydney and moved to Melbourne in 1995. He has experience in hospital rehabilitation and palliative care, and has particular interests in musculoskeletal problems, persistent pain, mental health, drug and alcohol dependence and in preventing problems by building social connection and promoting healthy lifestyle choices. He is also fascinated by Australia’s diversity, its many languages, faiths and cultures.
Dr. Duncan Howard
General Practitioner, MBBS

Dr Duncan Howard has worked as a GP for many years after completing training at the University of Melbourne, the Austin, Royal Children’s and Royal Women’s Hospitals. Duncan first began at Brunswick in 1992, and apart from three years in the country has worked here since. Given his Obstetric and Paediatric training Duncan is associated with Melbourne’s major maternity hospitals as a shared obstetric care GP and sees a lot of children.
In addition, he has a special interest in mental health and homeless primary care, working in the community at Common Ground in Elizabeth Street, CBD and Stewart Lodge, an SRS in Brunswick. Duncan maintains a strong interest in Medical Education and Research, working as medical educator, supervisor and researcher with the area GP Training Organisation. Regardless of these special interests he sees himself as an all-round general practitioner seeing anyone, of any age. He is available for appointments from Monday to Thursday, and occasional Saturday mornings. Duncan is a Brunswick local having brought up his family here and swimming regularly at the local pool.
Dr. Jyoti Blencowe

Born and raised in Brunswick, Jyoti completed her medical degree at the University of Melbourne, after first studying a Bachelor of Science with a major in Psychology. Before starting her GP training, she worked in various locations including a year at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, six months completing a Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Mercy Hospital for Women and a stint of voluntary work assisting women and children in one of India’s largest red-light areas in Mumbai.
Jyoti first started working at Brunswick Community Medical Centre as a GP Registrar in 2012. She returned to Brunswick to complete her training in 2015 and has enjoyed continuing to grow the relationships she has developed with patients and their families since then.
Jyoti is a great listener, enjoys working together with patients to find the best outcomes for them, and finds that the breadth of patients and presentations that GP has to offer makes her work continually enjoyable and stimulating. She has particular interests and expertise in Women’s health, Children’s health and mental health, and feels passionately about working to improve the health and wellbeing of Indigenous Australians and other marginalised populations.
When not at work, Jyoti currently spends the majority of her time juggling 2 small children, a new dog, chickens, vegetables and all of the associated beauty and chaos.

Dr. Nahkita Wolfe

Nahkita grew up in Gippsland and relocated to Melbourne to study medicine, graduating from Monash University in 2016. She trained in both metropolitan and rural hospitals, before deciding on a career in General Practice.
Nahkita is passionate about providing safe and inclusive care to all – particularly those that may have previously experienced barriers to accessing care – including adolescents and young adults, the queer community, and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community. She has completed advanced training in sexual health, menopause management, and in trans and gender-diverse care. Nahkita has a keen interest in the assessment and management of pelvic and vulval pain, perimenopause, ADHD, chronic disease management, and preventative healthcare.
Having recently returned to Brunswick Community Medical Centre, Nahkita is excited to re-engage with the local community. Outside of work, she is an avid amateur footballer – her love for footy eclipsed only by love for her Golden Retriever Bailey, and Great Dane puppy Donnie.
