We’re thrilled that 90+ community, staff members and partners got involved across five events this week and we couldn’t have helped spread the word without you.
This annual campaign (observed this year 24-31 October), supported by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC), helped people understand the risks associated with gambling and the harm it can cause to individuals, families and communities.
We know that gambling more often, for longer periods of time and without taking a break can increase the risk of experiencing gambling harm. Making changes to the way you gamble can help reduce that risk. This year’s campaign message focused on the changes that people can take to reduce the risk of experiencing gambling harm – because making small changes can make a big difference.
But the support doesn’t end there! If you or anyone you know has experienced harm from their gambling or been affected by someone else’s gambling, help is available.
