For the second year in a row, Carer Gateway was part of Victoria’s biggest First Nations festival, Share the Spirit, and it was absolutely amazing!
Share the Spirit is the state’s largest and longest running First Nations festival and offers a chance to learn, respect and share Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture.
Sue, Amanda and Tracy from the Carer Gateway team loved connecting with families and watching kids get creative with painting, badge-making and basket weaving activities.
The festivals energy was truly something special, with a traditional smoking ceremony and great live music bringing everyone together in celebration of culture and community.
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our activities and helped make the day unforgettable! Share the Spirit is one of our favourite events, and we can’t wait to be back next year!
