After many years of dedicated service, Mick Geary, Executive Director of Strategy and Impact, is farewelling Holstep Health, leaving behind a legacy defined by leadership, integrity, and deep commitment to community. Mick is taking on a new role as Executive Director – North Division at Anglicare Victoria.
Mick’s journey with Banyule Community Health (now Holstep Health) began in youth homelessness, before progressing into senior leadership roles serving as CEO for eight years. Throughout this time, his leadership, vision and steady stewardship played a pivotal role in guiding our organisation, including his instrumental role in the successful merger with Merri Health to ensure a healthier future for our communities.
Mick’s connection to this organisation, and to the communities we serve, runs deep. His legacy will continue to shape Holstep Health for many years to come. Those who have worked alongside Mick know him as a leader of integrity, humility and compassion, whose genuine care for people and communities has always been at the heart of his work.
