Yesterday, thousands of people gathered at Midsumma Carnival 2025 to celebrate pride and support rainbow health.
It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with the LGBTIQA+ community and highlight the services and initiatives we provide to support health and wellbeing.
Our stall, complete with a polaroid photo booth, glitter, and ‘spin-the-wheel’, was lively as staff from Merri Health and Banyule Community Health met new faces and shared support available.
We know that many in the LGBTIQA+ community face challenges, including poorer mental and physical health outcomes and barriers to accessing support due to fear of discrimination.
As Rainbow Tick-accredited organisations, Merri Health and Banyule Community Health are committed to creating inclusive spaces for the LGBTIQA+ community to access the care and support they deserve.
