At Holstep Health, everyone is welcome
Our communities are diverse, and so are we. We welcome everyone who walks through our doors, and we are enriched by the views, traditions and lived experiences of the people we serve, and work with us.
At Holstep Health, we are committed to building healthy, inclusive and fair communities. We believe that health equity is achieved when everyone, regardless of their culture, faith, ability, sexuality, gender, intersex, lived experience or migration status – can access welcoming, safe and respectful person-centred care, that is acknowledging and affirming of their needs.
We know that inclusion does not happen by accident. That is why we are embedding diversity and inclusion into every aspect of our organisation, that ensures everybody feels welcome, safe and supported, to bring their whole selves into our workplaces and services
We are committed to:
- Building diversity and inclusion into everything our organisation does through an updated co-designed Diversity and Inclusion Plan.
- Developing a new Holstep Health Reconciliation Action Plan to continue the from the commitments of our legacy organisations
- Supporting safe and inclusive spaces by maintaining our Rainbow Tick accreditation
- Championing gender equality with our Gender Equality Report to the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA)
What diversity and inclusion mean to us
- Diversity reflects the many differences that make people unique including culture, language, beliefs, abilities, bodies, sexualities, genders, age, and lived experiences.
- Inclusion means embracing those differences and creating environments where people feel safe to be themselves, respected for who they are, and empowered to contribute.
At Holstep Health, diversity and inclusion are not just words, they are practices that shape our services, our workforce, and our future.
