Creating communities that value people of every age
The Elder Abuse Prevention Network (EAPN) is committed to building communities where people of all ages are respected. Holstep Health leads EAPNs in the North and West Metropolitan regions of Victoria.
We collaborate with network members to develop community-based primary prevention activities designed to:
- challenge ageism and underlying factors that drive abuse of older people
- improve attitudes towards older people and ageing
- build the capacity of professionals and community members to identify elder abuse and know where to get help.
