ReSPIN booking form
Thank you for considering having a ReSpin Lived Experience Community Educator present. Please complete and submit the following form. Upon submission, a ReSPIN worker will contact you.
Please note:
ReSPIN community educators have lived experience of gambling harm, either as recovered gamblers or as affected others – partners, children, friends. Presentations can be oriented to the nature and needs of the audience. The ReSPIN co-ordinator will negotiate the details of each engagement with the event organisers. ReSPIN Lived Experience Community Educators are recognised through an honorarium for each engagement and hence a contribution is not required from the organiser. Speakers use their personal lived experience but the ReSPIN co-ordinator can also offer a general overview of gambling from a public health perspective. This is valuable in providing a general context for the lived experience perspective. ReSPIN is also committed to evaluate its work, and such evaluation will be negotiated with each event organiser, acknowledging the differences in each event.
Note:
ReSPIN Lived Experience presentations are not to be recorded (face to face or online) to protect the integrity and privacy of our speakers. If you have a specific need to record a speaker’s presentation, please contact the ReSPIN Program Coordinator who will discuss the request with the speaker and issue an authorisation form to be signed by both parties.
