Practical help and financial assistance in times of crisis

If you need urgent financial assistance or other practical social support during a crisis, we can help. Our community social workers can provide:

food vouchers and other financial assistance
support with housing and homelessness issues
domestic and family violence support and referral
help with Centrelink issues and other basic social needs.

We can also advocate for you, help you navigate the system, and connect you with other services who can provide support.

Anyone living or staying around the area local to Banyule or connected to programs at Holstep Health West Heidelberg who needs urgent financial assistance, or other support.

What do I need to do?

Please contact our reception at West Heidelberg Monday-Friday after 8am on (03) 9450 2000 to book an appointment.

Emergency Relief appointments are generally only booked on the day, with a limited number available each morning, and vouchers can only be accessed once every 3 months.
