Conmemoración del Mes del Orgullo y de las comunidades LGBTIQA+

Conmemoración del Mes del Orgullo y de las comunidades LGBTIQA+

Pride Month is a time to recognise the important role LGBTIQA+ communities play in our communities and continue working towards a future where everyone feels they belong.

As a Rainbow Tick accredited organisation, we are committed to creating safe, welcoming and inclusive spaces where everyone feels respected and supported.

We understand that some LGBTIQA+ people may hesitate to seek support because of past experiences or concerns about discrimination. That’s why we are committed to providing services that are inclusive, respectful and responsive to people’s needs.

One simple way we can support inclusion is by using a person’s correct pronouns. Pronouns are the words we use when talking about someone, such as he/him, she/her or they/them. Using the correct pronouns shows respect and acknowledges a person’s identity. If you make a mistake, simply apologise, correct yourself and move on. Making an effort to get it right can help people feel seen, respected and safe.

Want to show your support by celebrating Pride Month? Learn more about why pronouns matter and explore our support available.
