Changes have been taking place behind the scenes as we find new ways to better use our current spaces!
Consumers will continue to receive the same services from the same Holstep Health teams as we farewell our Pentridge site from 30 June 2026. With additional space now available across our West Heidelberg, Victoria Street (Coburg) and Preston locations, this change will help us make better use of our facilities, support greater collaboration between teams and continue investing in high-quality care for our communities.
Following becoming Holstep Health and joining our legacy organisations, we have additional space available across our sites. At the same time, flexible and hybrid working arrangements have meant the Pentridge site has seen a significant reduction in use over recent years.
There are no face-to-face consumer services delivered from Pentridge. Most teams based there work behind the scenes in corporate and support roles such as IT and Finance and have been relocated to renovated spaces to help them work more collaboratively. Our two consumer-facing sites in Coburg (Bell Street and Victoria Street) continue to serve the local community directly.
To ensure we use our resources responsibly and continue to provide high-quality care, we are upgrading existing buildings and relocating staff to support more collaborative ways of working across our Coburg, Preston, and West Heidelberg sites.
The move to the Pentridge site originally followed a devastating fire at our former head office on Harding Street, Coburg in 2017. With the upcoming expiry of the Pentridge lease, we looked at how all our sites are being used. This provided an important opportunity to reflect not only on where we work, but how we can work together into the future.
