All In for National Reconciliation Week

All In for National Reconciliation Week

National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a chance for all Australians to come together, learn more about our shared histories, and celebrate the world’s oldest living cultures.

Held each year from 27 May to 3 June, the week recognises two important milestones in Australia’s reconciliation journey: the successful 1967 Referendum and the High Court’s Mabo decision.

This year’s theme, All In, is a reminder that reconciliation is something we can all be part of through everyday actions, conversations and connections in our communities.

There are plenty of simple ways to get involved during National Reconciliation Week. You could:

As a community health organisation, we see the importance of strong relationships, culturally safe care, and communities where everyone feels respected, heard and connected.

At Holstep Health, we are committed to helping close the health gap experienced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and supporting reconciliation through respect, equity and meaningful action.

We are also proud to be developing our first Reconciliation Action Plan. This work will help shape how we strengthen relationships, embed reconciliation into the way we deliver care, and support thriving communities.
