Caring Through Pictures Video Campaign

Caring Through Pictures Video Campaign

In 2026, we filmed a video campaign to highlight some of the unique experiences and stories of the carers we support.

As part of each video, we asked carers of all ages and backgrounds to bring in a few photos which they felt represented their caring story.

They spoke about a range of topics – from their personal experiences and the challenges carers face to the advice they would offer other carers in similar roles.

We were able to capture some beautiful and moving stories from all of the carers who were involved. You can explore all the videos from the campaign below.

Free Support Through Carer Gateway

Discover how the Carer Gateway program has supported Chloe, Chris, Naomi and Gavin in their caring roles – and why they believe reaching out for support is so important.

Meet Our Young Carers

Get to know six of our incredible young carers, all between the ages of 11 and 23.

Young carers are people under 25 who provide unpaid care and support to someone close to them. Hayley, Taha, Waled, Lillian, Thomas and Naomi all help care for a sibling at home. Take a look at a snapshot of their stories below.

Chris

Meet Chris, who is a carer for his son Jude and a member of our Carer Advisory Group.

Taha & Waled

Two teenage brothers, Taha and Waled, share their story of caring for their brother Ahmed.

Hayley

Meet Hayley and her support dog, Wilson. Hayley is 15 and cares for her younger brother William.

Chloe

Chloe is a carer for her best friend Akasha. Chloe is a member of our Carer Advisory Group, and a proud advocate for the LGBTQIA+ carer community.

Thomas

Meet 12-year-old Thomas and his older brother Joshua, who Thomas helps care for.

Naomi

Naomi cares for multiple family members and has been part of our Young Carer Advisory Group for many years. Now 23, she reflects on her caring journey and how Carer Gateway has supported her along the way.

Gavin

Gavin is a long-time carer for his daughter, Sarah, and a member of our Carer Advisory Group.
