Achieving excellence and showing compassion are part of every day for Dental Assistant Tina Marrarino, who was recently named a finalist in the Chisholm Institute Trainee of the Year Award.
Tina’s hard work and dedication shone through as she returned to study to complete a Certificate III in Dental Assisting. As a valued member of the Smile Squad team, she embraced the challenges of digital learning as a mature-age student, demonstrating perseverance, with a little support from her teenage son!
Balancing family life, work and study, Tina not only excelled in her learning but also valued for her leadership and willingness to support those around her.
Tina’s well-deserved recognition highlights her passion for supporting those in the community who need it most. She hopes to further her studies so she can continue supporting children and their families: “my children have seen me become a lifelong learner and how anyone at any age can study”.
